About Our Company


Front Range Automotive has been family-owned and operated for five years. When we opened our doors on February 7th of 2006, we weren’t sure what to expect on the success of it being it was our first ‘family-owned’ business; but, five years later, and still going strong, we still continue to grow, thanks to all our wonderful customers and neighboring community continuing to support us.

We take HUGE pride in our customers and their satisfaction with us. Our business is based off word of mouth and referrals and little to no advertisement, so our marketing technique is based off our customers and their satisfaction with us. We hope and plan to always structure our company this way and provide the ability to repair all vehicles including import and domestic, specializing in imported vehicles.

When you come to check us out, you will have the opportunity to meet the owner and Master Technician, Rolf Pickering, and second Master Technician, Bruce Brockopp, Front Desk, Hollie Pickering and our crazy & friendly pup, Bentley. Vehicle history on Technicians:


Both of our technicians have had several years of automotive experience, (more specifically in extensive training and experience in Audi and Mercedes Benz.) They are both highly experienced in the areas of: Mechanical, Manufacturing and Technology (applying principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to apply to products and/or services), Computers & Electronics and Customer and Personal Experience (i.e.: customer’s needs, meeting quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.)

Bruce Brockopp

(Master Technician):

Experience: 1979-Feb. 2006: 28 years, Prestige Imports, Audi Service (Full-Line technician).

Trainings (Colorado, California, and Texas): Factory service training from Audi and all vehicle operating systems, engine (basic and advanced), transmission (both automatic and manual), AC & heating, electrical, new car product.

Feb. 2006-Present: Front Range Automotive Lakewood, CO. specializing in full vehicle knowledge of all makes and models.

Rolf Pickering

(Owner and 2nd Master Technician):

Experience: 1977-1980: Mark-R Buick Pontiac-East Hampton, N.Y. (Full-line technician).

1980-1981: Leo-Payne Imports (Full-line technician).
Sept 1981-Oct 1982: Buzz Chew Chevrolet Oldsmobile (Shop foreman).
Oct 1982- April 1990: Lakewood Imports Volvo Service (Full-line technician).
April 1990-June 1996: Mercedes Benz at Prestige Imports- (Shop foreman, 1993-1996).
June 1996-June 1998: Mercedes Benz of Littleton (Shop foreman).
June 1998-Jan 2006: Perfection Motors Mercedes Benz Service, (Full-line technician).
February 2006-Present: Front Range Automotive, (Owner and Master Technician.)

Trainings (New York, Colorado, Chicago, Dallas & Houston Texas and California): General Motors full factor training, Volvo full factoring training (1980-1981), shop foreman training for Buzz Chew Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz at Prestige Imports factory training for all models. Traveled to Mercedes-Benz factory in Germany, Dec. 2009- learned thorough history on all makes and models of Mercedes Benz vehicles.

Sat & Sun: Closed

We are closed on all major holidays.

Early Bird and late Night-drop off is available.
Shuttle service available Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well.
